Playing with words2 (1NB)

Lewis Carroll invented this word game in 1879. He played it at Christmas. The idea of the game is to take two words of the same length and then to turn the first word into the second by changing one letter at a time. You can’t just change any letter you want. You have to create proper words as you go along.
For example, you can turn CAT into DOG this way:
Cat – Cot – Cog - Dog
Now it’s your turn. See if you can solve this doublet. The best doublets use as few changes as possible. You should be able to turn BOY into MAN using just two other words in between.
BOY _________ _________ MAN
Now try some of these. Don’t forget that you need to use as few changes as possible. Fill in the blank area in between the two words with your changed words.
Sick - Well
Hate - Love
East - West
Hard - Easy
